10 To 2 Childrens Books was
established in 2006. We are a group of artists that have come together for a common goal:
to offer quality childrens stories for all to enjoy, while also helping others
achieve their own goals.
Our
mission is to reach out to the community with this medium and find ways to help others. We offer community support by donating a portion of our net profits (after taxes) to charity, with the rest of the money being made available to support new projects. We offer author visits to educational institutions and libraries, with books provided for these events at a $5.00 discount off the retail prices. This incentive is offered because we want to encourage interaction between artists and students. It makes for an exciting learning experience. For nonprofit organizations who are trying to raise money, we offer the same $5.00 off of the book prices, as well as promotional materials and hands on assistance with these fundraisers.
Ask
yourself, who are the people who create the stories your children are reading? Is it the
book publishers? No. They decide only what should be made available for your children to
read. Is it the distributors? No. They distribute what the publishers have decided to make
available for your children to read. It is the creative writers and illustrators who
affect how your children see the world. We believe that we, the writers and illustrators,
should have some say in the process of what is worthy of being read. And that is why 10 To
2 came to exist.

Childrens Books creates childrens specialty books, and on our website you are
treated to a reading of excerpts from our books so you can decide if each is a book
youd like to own. We offer our books in hardcover or on CD with a reading by the
author. Most of our rhyming stories have also been set to music and are offered on CD, as
well. These are all added ways to enhance your childs reading experience.
